10-Q

The US has required quarterly reports since 1970. They let investors check on a company every three months, though the complaint that they tie management to the next quarter is just as old. The EU, Britain, Singapore and Japan each adopted and then reversed a quarterly requirement, and in 2026 the SEC proposed letting US companies choose semiannual reporting instead.
