Called a perpetual, or perp. With no expiry there is no settlement date, so the two sides pay each other a periodic fee that keeps the contract from drifting away from the real price. Because nothing is delivered, a market can be opened anywhere regardless of where the stock is listed, and whoever opens it decides where the price comes from.
