Shanghai Yuliangsheng Technology was founded in 2022 by pooling DUV lithography R&D teams from several Chinese firms, with roughly $148 million in registered capital. SMIC has been testing its immersion DUV tool since September 2025, ahead of first deliveries to SMIC, Hua Hong and CXMT.
