US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in roughly $900 million of net inflows last week, the largest weekly haul since early May and a sharp jump from the $197 million the week before, according to The Kobeissi Letter. The largest fund, BlackRock's IBIT, led the surge with $193 million of inflows for the week, on top of $282 million the week prior, and Monday and Tuesday alone added another $115 million and $164 million respectively. That puts IBIT's July inflows at roughly $501 million so far, on pace for its largest monthly haul since April and the third-largest of the year. The acceleration comes as broader markets have been choppy on Iran-related oil-price spikes and a rising Treasury yield curve, conditions that in the past have sometimes pushed investors toward Bitcoin as a hedge, though Kobeissi's post does not spell out a specific catalyst. The bottom line for Kobeissi is simple, demand for Bitcoin funds is improving quickly, a reversal from the sluggish flows seen for most of the summer.

Why it matters · A sudden acceleration in Bitcoin ETF inflows, led by BlackRock's IBIT, signals institutional demand for crypto exposure is picking back up just as broader markets grow jittery over Iran and rising yields.

Worth asking · Bitcoin ETF inflows just jumped to their fastest pace since May while stocks wobble on Iran and yields. Is this fresh institutional conviction in Bitcoin as a hedge, or just a short-lived rotation that fades once the geopolitical noise settles?
