NAND

NAND flash is the storage-tier memory that keeps data without power, layered in vertical stacks (V-NAND) to raise density each generation. It has historically been a lower-margin commodity than DRAM, but AI inference, which needs to park huge amounts of context data cheaply and quickly, is pulling high-speed NAND into the data-center memory hierarchy, potentially reshaping its demand and pricing.
