NdPr

Rare earth ore contains many elements at once, and neodymium and praseodymium behave so similarly that separating them costs more than it is worth for magnet use. Producers therefore sell them together as NdPr. Its price per kilogram is the main revenue driver for a Western rare earth miner, which is why price guarantees are written against NdPr rather than against the ore.
