Founded in 1996 in Shanghai, Hua Hong Semiconductor is mainland China's second-largest chip foundry, specializing in mature process nodes of 28/22nm and below used for power chips, memory and analog circuits. Listed in Hong Kong and, since 2023, on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, it is one of the first customers lined up to receive China's newly mass-produced domestic DUV lithography tools.
